9. Shooting
in the golden time
When I chatting with a photographer
recently, he told me that do not shooting at daytime . He just shoots at dawn
and dusk . Because at that time ,the light is the best . And he find that the
scenery photos can be “alive” at that time.
Theses “golden” times are the best times for
shooting scenery and portrait. Because that is the time the “golden light” show
up . Another reason I like these times is that the angle of light and the scene
effect of light -- produce the alive background and levels and vein.
10. Consider
the horizon
It's a cliche, but it still works. First of
all, when you start shooting scenery photography, thinking of the placement of
the horizon from the two points .
Is the horizon straight? Although you always
can adjust it through a variety of tools later. Done it when shooting would be
more simple.
Where the horizon should be when compositing?
The general composition is to place the horizon in one third of the image, (one
third, or a third below) instead of the center of the image. This is not
certain, of course, you can break the rules, but I find that unless they are special
and amazing photos. The third law (rule of third) is always applicate.
11.
change the Angle you observed
When you find a scene worthy to shoot , get
out of the car and open the camera, climbed over the fence, put the camera up
to the eyes, choose a different focal length. And then before you getting to
another site , click the shutter.
We will all do so -- but that does not let me
get the kind of attractive photos.
Spend more time on photography, trying to
find more points of interest. May be you can start from looking for a different
location (walk the path, looking for a new point of view), on the ground to
shoot in a low Angle . Or find a high that good for shooting.
To explore the surrounding environment, and
varied from different angles you will find something really unique. Or using collage making software or photo montage
at then end, you can also get some different ideas.
